Tanya Wisniewski

Meet Tanya Wisniewski

When Tanya first connected with Junior Achievement, it wasn’t as a board member—it was as a volunteer.

Through EY’s long-standing partnership with JA, she stepped into the classroom and saw firsthand the impact of connecting students to real-world skills. From experiences like the JA Stock Market Challenge to immersive spaces like our new Experiential Learning Center, she’s seen how those moments can spark confidence and curiosity.

What she found was more than a volunteer opportunity. It was alignment.

Tanya’s upbringing shaped her perspective early. With parents who immigrated from Romania, she grew up with a strong emphasis on education, financial responsibility, and building a meaningful career. Those same values are at the heart of JA’s mission.

Today, as she steps into the role of Board Chair, Tanya brings with her more than two decades of professional experience—and a deep commitment to Cleveland.

A partner at EY, Tanya has spent 23 years building her career in the city she’s always called home. “I’ve never had to move,” she said. “It’s been a wonderful career based here in Cleveland.”

That connection to the community is a driving force behind her leadership.

Over nearly a decade on JA’s board, Tanya has helped guide the organization through moments of growth and transformation. From expanding student programming to the launch of the Experiential Learning Center, she has witnessed how bold ideas can become reality.

“Watching that vision come to life—where students are now actively learning and engaging—has been incredible,” she said.

But for Tanya, the impact goes beyond any single initiative.

It’s about students. It’s about helping them build confidence, understand opportunity, and see a future for themselves right here in Cleveland. As incoming Board Chair, she’s focused on continuing that momentum—expanding engagement, strengthening partnerships, and finding new ways to connect students to meaningful experiences.

“There’s such a strong foundation already in place,” she said. “I’m just excited for what’s ahead.”

With her leadership, Junior Achievement will continue doing what it does best: opening doors, building confidence, and helping young people see what’s possible.
